Buckden Gavel Lead Mine

This shots taken from just inside the entrance to the Buckden gavel lead mine, a few weeks after I took this shot I mentioned it to some friends at work and we set out to explore the tunnels.

I took my camera and tripod with me but it was -3℃ and frosty outside and amazingly warm inside the tunnel which caused the camera to steam up, so I didn't really get any good shots, but planning to head back there when its a bit warmer so there's no camera issues.

One of our Guys paced out the walk back out and it was 800 metres, so there's plenty in there to explore. (note: its really dangerous in there, ceiling supports have all rotted away and many large sections of the roof has fallen in, be very careful if you do go in there its not for the fainthearted)
