I arrived at Talisker Bay along some amazingly steep and very thin roads and parked up within ten minutes walk of the Bay. A nice easy walk to get down there crossing a couple of farmers fields.
As anyone who has visited the Isle of Skye will tell you the weather can be very changeable, one minute its super sunny and the next its raining, great for photography.
I was quite lucky with the weather, moody fast moving clouds with shafts of sunshine hitting the sea and finally (after a large downfall) cleared enough to get a reasonable sunset shot.
This first shot is a mix of a couple of shots blended to get the slow motion effect on the water, ideally I would have like to visit when the tide was further out so I could have got closer to the spire on the the left of the bay, hopefully I will re visit there again soon.
As you can see from this shot the sky was amazing, looking back on this now I think I could have probably done a better shot... possibly got a better foreground feature or possibly got down lower and closer to the light reflecting off the smooth rocks in the water.
