Apples Photoshop Comp

This photoshop comp was created for a competition with a few friends from work, each month we choose a word or theme to photograph, the theme for this one was simply apples. I took detailed photos of the apples placed them roughly where I wanted them and then drew all over the image (adding the roads, smoke and snails) using my wacom tablet to get the proof of concept.

Once I was happy with the rough idea I started taking shots of the other items I needed (dandylion clock, snails and apple pips) one of the hardest things was getting the shots of the snails at the right angle.

I used some of my old wood textures for the cart, window sills and doors and tinted these to make them look different across the image.
